Jim was one of the drivers for the Bethel-St. Clair Meals on Wheels. Dedicated and always ready to "sub". He will be missed dearly. Almost every week, he would bring in condiment packets that the clients didn't want or use. Can't throw them away! "They're still good." he would tell me. May our prayers comfort his family and friends at this difficult time.

I had the good fortune to work with Jim at both Consol Inc. and FedEx. He was always the one remembering birthdays, getting coworkers and friends together for lunches or dinners, keeping everybody in touch. Jim used to encourage us less conscientious coworkers to go on walks at lunchtime. One time while walking around Gilfillan Trail near Consol Plaza, Jim took a notion to swing on a woody vine hanging from a tree. This was back in the shirt and tie days. While jumping off the vine, Jim ripped the seam out of his pants. When our friend Jeff and I finished laughing, I went into the building and retrieved my spring jacket for Jim to tie around his waist. Jim good naturedly endured the retelling of the story many times. Jim was a kind and thoughtful person, and above all a good friend. I'll miss him dearly. Jim had a strong faith and we'll take solace knowing he is with the Lord and with his Mom and Dad. See you on the other side Jim.

I was lucky enough to go to PSU McKeesport with Jim and he was one of the sweetest, kindest men I have ever known. I simply cannot believe he is gone. I am so very sorry. To his family and many, many friends - please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. I feel lucky to have been part of his life, even if it was for a short time. He was one of a kind, and he will be greatly missed.

I was so sorry to hear this sad news. Jim and I graduated from Bethel Park High School in 1977. When my mother died in 1991, I was pleasantly surprised when Jim came to the funeral home to pay his respects. It reminded me again, what a kind, gentle, and thoughtful person he was. My deepest sympathies to Jim's family and friends. May your heart find peace and comfort.

Jim was a dear friend in high school and I so much enjoyed reconnecting with him at our 40th reunion in 2016. He will be greatly missed.
