James R. Varner Jr. of Washington PA (most recently Wilmington DE), 46, unexpectedly passed away May 24, 2023.

Jim was born on May 24, 1977 to Darlene Varner (Gray) and late James Richard Varner Sr in Washington, PA. After Jim graduated from Trinity Highschool in 1997, he went on to pursue general studies at Community College of Allegheny County with dreams of a career in the Mortuary Science Field. His love for WPIAL football never ceased and he lived for fall kickoff. He was an avid boxing fan and a member of golden gloves.

Jim leaves behind two beautiful young daughters, Whitney Morgan and Wilhelmina Delphine, who love their daddy and will eternally miss him.

He is preceded in death by his father, James Richard Varner Sr and Father in Law, Dennis Wesley Marchando amongst many other extended family members.

Jim is survived by his wife Gina (Marchando), mother Darlene Varner, Sister Joyce Nickel (Thomas), niece Melissa Headlee (Matthew, Ava & Wyatt) nephew Ben Winters (Brittany, Bentley & Bellamy), and countless friends and family from near and far.

Friends and family are welcome on Friday, June 2, 2023 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray PA 15317. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM at the funeral home on Saturday, June 3, 2023.
