Paula Shaffer (Leverknight)

Paula Shaffer (Leverknight), age 58, of Wilkins Township, PA and formerly of Acosta, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 28, 2023 after a heroic battle with cancer that was fought with courage, composure, and dignity. Born on July 26, 1964, in Somerset County, she is the daughter of the late Janice Beltrami-Pyle and Lowell Pyle of Acosta, PA; beloved mother of John M. Shaffer; adoring grandmother of the late Tezmurai Shaffer; and dear sister of Christine (Leverknight) Trich and Lowell Michael Pyle (Cherree).

She will be dearly missed by her family and countless friends. She will be remembered for her kindness, her warmth, her generosity, her love of travel, white sand, blue water, and clear skies. In her memory and in her words, Paula would say “I love you more.”

A celebration of life will be scheduled for a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Magee Women’s Cancer Research. Arrangements entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, Robinson Township.
