Clifford Lee Glidewell, age 87, of Bethel Park, PA formerly of Riverside, CA passed away peacefully on May 27, 2023.

Beloved husband of 35 years to the late Elizabeth Ann Glidewell.

Born on May 15, 1936, in Riverside, CA he is the son of the late Evelyn and Manvill Glidewell.

Loving father of Jacqueline (David) Whithed, Pamela (Robert) Hodermarsky and Janice (Mark) Nowark.

Brother of the Bryan Glidewell and David Glidewell.

Pappy of Joshua Whithed, Christian Whithed, Scott Hodermarsky, Shannon (Dale) Riether, Cynthia (Lucas) Mueser, Ashley (Joseph) Kimmel, and Bridget Nowark.

Great Grandfather of Landon Kimmel, Colton Kimmel, Gia Mueser, Banx Mueser, and Koda Riether.

Preceded in death by sister Mary (Phil) Cassell.

Also survived by many family and friends.

Clifford worked as a computer engineer until his retirement, and went on to establish his own home repair and electrical business. For many, he did it out of the goodness of his heart. He was always willing to lend a hand and help others. He could repair or fix just about anything. Clifford enjoyed life to the fullest, he loved to dance, entertain friends at his home, he loved spending time with the Lord in prayer, and was an active member in the Assembly of God Church. He also served in the Korean War in the Army. He was stationed in Lewes, Delaware, where he would meet the love of his life, Elizabeth Ann Glidewell. His legacy will live on through all the cherished memories we share together and the blessings he’s given to others over the years.

Friends and family are welcome on June 1, 2023 from 11 – 2 pm at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray PA 15317. A service will take place immediately following the gathering at 2 pm at the funeral home.

You have our deepest condolences. Cliff was such a wonderful man. We met him through dancing over 20 years ago. We were in the same class for many years. We’re sure he’s dancing his way to heaven!
