Larry Kirkland, age 56 of Washington, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, March 15, 2018.

He was the beloved son of the late Eileen and Kenneth Kirkland. Loving husband of Amy Durbin Kirkland. Doting stepfather of Nicole (Josh) Harshall and Jessica Johnston. Adored grandfather of Joshua, Gabriella, Anthony, and Tessa.   Cherished brother of Terrence Kirkland and Mary Kirkland (Dennis Ferlich). He was preceeded in death by his half siblings Thomas Kirkland and Phyllis Soloman and his brother, Gary Kirkland.

Larry will be remembered as a fun loving sports fan. He especially loved hockey and football. His favorite companions were his cats Taz, Pootie, and Whiskey.  Most of all, he enjoyed spending time at home with family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546. At the family’s request, all services will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Larry’s name to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC, 4401 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15224 or West Virginia University Children’s Hospital, 1 Medical Center Drive, Morgantown, WV 26506.
