Madelyn G. Walko age 62 of Pittsburgh, passed away on November 25, 2017 at the VA Pittsburgh Hospital.

She was born on March 23, 1955.

Madelyn will be buried at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with Full Military Honors.  Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546.

I did not know Madelyn, but she part of the United States Army Pershing Missile Systems that I so loved. As such, we were brother and sister, and I mourn her passing. We will meet again on Fiddler's Field. Rest well until that day.

So sorry for the loss of Maggie. I did not know her personally but as a member of the Pershing Missile family we all mourn the loss of another fine soldier. Praying for her family and friends.

Maggie was in my Pershing class at Redstone Arsenal in 1978. I lost track of her after graduation but I thought of her upon occasion. I'm soffry to hear of her death.

My prayers for her family and friends. I served with Pershing, but I didn’t know her personally, but mourn her as a fellow Pershing soldier. RIP Madelyn.
