Richard Rydze, Agę 73, of Pittsburgh passed away on November 28, 2023.
Born on March 15, 1950, he was the son of the late Robert and Alma Rydze.
He was the beloved husband of the late Kathryn Rydze; loving father of Cassy (Will) Thomeier, Tyson (Kara) Rydze, Dustin (Cara) Rydze and Abby Rydze; grandfather of Bella, Willy, Angela, Connor, Colton, Brycen, and Brynlee; dear brother of Bob (Elaine) Rydze and Regina Phillips.
As a physician he had an unwavering commitment to healing and caring for others. He had a love for platform diving, which led him to various corners of the globe where he ultimately achieved an Olympic Silver medal. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
