Ruth Lenora Gentile, 83, of West Deer Township, passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 15, 2022. She was born in Harrison Township on December 31, 1938, the daughter of the late John and Lena Harbaugh. Ruth was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Saxonburg. She enjoyed reading, loved cooking and family gatherings, especially those with her sisters. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who will be missed by everyone.

Ruth was preceded in death by her sons Francis “Choo” and Nicholas Gentile; her siblings, Mary Lou Sebastian, Jean Bobella, Phyllis Thompson, Bill Harbaugh, and Jack Harbaugh. She is survived by her loving daughter Madelyn Gentile (Timothy Marchant “Tazz”); grandchildren, Francesca (Kyle Gruber), Nicholas, and Tina Gentile; great-grandchildren August, Colt and Aubrey Gentile; daughter-in-law Debbie Gentile; numerous nieces and one nephew; and her “grandpup” Tanner.

A memorial service will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ruth’s name may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church, 210 Westminster Rd., Saxonburg, PA 16056.
