Devon
I miss my Mum. She was a mother to so many people and her house was open to all. She knew everyone in Pittsburgh and could tell you all the stories from living in Brentwood and Baldwin as well as growing up in Bridgeville. I can’t imagine what words to say when writing this, but don’t be sad. She always wanted cremates because she didn’t want people coming ‘round to sulk and cry about her. She would tell me she didn’t wanna be buried because she wants to be free to haunt us. Then she’d laugh her laugh. I miss her laugh but feel like she’s here. Tomorrow I say I love her until I see her again.

Sally was a beauty inside and out. So full of love and everyone around her was better for her presence. I will so miss our “silver-lining” friend. But I do enjoy the thought of being haunted by her chuckle, so thanks for that, Devon :-)

She was one of my ‘Mommy’ friends, helped me through La Leche League - she was my Leader, then my friend, then sponsored me to become a La Leche Leader. I loved her laughter and the way she loved her life. She took time to visit with me in Tempe while visiting Devon- I will miss her as will do many .
