Dear Starlet & Family of Scott, I grieve and mourn with you as one who has hope. Starlet your loss is great may Jesus himself comfort you all. Scott was one of my best friends and brothers in Christ. It was just last week I started recounting, playing and singing the choruses of a few of his songs, the ones we played many times side by side......."Lord Jesus Christ, God of mercy and might, Lord I pray, have your way in me" Let it be so as we remember him.........a True Psalmist!

To Starlet and the rest of the family, Our hearts ache for you and we are keeping you close in prayer. May you be comforted by the assurance that, through baptism and the "faith that works by love" (Galatians 5:6), Scott is even now in the nearer presence of Jesus his Lord. We have to be out of town on Saturday, but we'll be with you all in spirit.

Starlett and Family, Scott was a highly valued and much loved colleague at Veritas Press Scholars Academy. I recall my inaugural year, in which I had the pleasure of working with him and meeting him face-to-face in Lancaster, PA during our end-of-year gathering. I so enjoyed that conversation, as I am sure so many at Veritas enjoyed Scott over the years. We were deeply distressed to receive this tragic news. Though we grieve with you, we do not despair, as our hope is in the One in whom Scott trusts. All of us here are very saddened for your loss. We pray the Lord's peace on you, in great measure. Dr. Bob Cannon and the Veritas Family
