Steven M. Gorman age 61, passed peacefully on August 25, 2017.

He is preceded in death by his beloved Mother, Eileen Backes Gorman and Father, Paul V. Gorman.

Steven is survived by his siblings Paul (Deborah) Gorman, Peter (Carol) Gorman, Mark (Deborah) Gorman, Raymond Gorman and Pamela Gorman.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to all the VA doctors and nursing staff that Steven kept very busy during his brief stay at the Oakland VA Hospital.

There will be no public visitation but all are welcome to attend a service at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with full military honors on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 2:00 pm.

Paul, Pete, Mark, Ray, & Pam. I'm so sorry to hear of Steve's passing. He was quite the character and still remember many "Steve" stories from family get togethers. My thoughts & prayers are with you always.

Pete and family: Saw this and thought it was perfect......."Memories are one place we can visit those we’ve lost. Since memories are portable, we can take our lost loved ones with us anywhere at anytime." We are so very sorry for the loss of your brother. We will keep you ALL in our thoughts and pray that you will find the strength and courage to get through this difficult time. Brother Steve! Back in the day when our families merged, you were my favorite step brother. Damn, you really knew how to party and hanging out with you was so much fun. From the collection of videos and the fun that always followed, the experiences of outrageous fun was certainly the party to be a part of. I regret the years that past without us enjoying the moments together. May you Rest In Peace and may we party together again!
