Thomas J. Malone, age 86 of McMurray, PA, formerly of South Williamsport, passed away on Sunday, Decemer 11, 2016. He was born on January 2, 1930 in Shamokin, PA; the beloved husband of the late Nancy Rummel Malone and the late Madeline Matrey Malone; loving father of Christine (David) Mittell; grandfather of Lauren, Matthew, and Michael Mittell. Preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond, Charles, Edward, and Albert Malone, and a sister, Mae Malone Thorp.

Thomas proudly served as a Corporal in the United States Army for 3 years. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Chris and Dave--I am so sorry to hear about Tom. I was thinking of him yesterday because we are finally getting our Christmas cards organized and I needed to get his new address. Then I talked with Dad last night and he told me. Tom was a great guy who always treated me like gold. I spent a lot of time with him (and your mom Chris) during my teen-age years and I believe they were a part of me becoming the person I am. I will miss both of them.
