Richard W. Lewis

Richard W. Lewis, of Robinson Township, at the age of 84, passed away unexpectedly on May 7, 2022. He was the son of Walter and Mary (Shaffer) Lewis and the brother to Patty, Nancy, and David.  He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Janice M. (Kriger) Lewis and his three sons, Randy, Gary (Arleen), and Scot (Sharon). He was a proud grandfather to Lisa Grega, Nichole LeBarnes, Dani, Billy, and Matthew Lewis.  While also a great grandfather to Gianna and Jameson DiCicco and William LeBarnes.

Rich was a long time Moon Run resident.  He was the class president of Robinson High School in 1955. Throughout his life he was always involved in his kids’ activities, which included little league baseball, fishing, hunting, and playing golf.   He also loved the outdoors, raising dogs, watching sports and giving advice.  In his career, he worked as an operational/plant manager in the plastic industry for over 30 years.   Rich will be dearly missed and remembered as a great provider for his family and his exceptional work ethic.   There will be no services.  The family will honor his life in a private celebration. Arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, Robinson Township, PA.
