Ronald J. Davis, age 67, of Elizabeth formerly of Donora passed away peacefully on August 11, 2022. Ron was born on May 20, 1955 in New Eagle, he was son of the late Raymond Skeets Davis of Sunnyside and Agnes Robb Sands of Monongahela. Also preceded in death by step father Charles Sands of Monongahela. Ron was also preceded in death by two children, son Ronald Davis of Monongahela, daughter Jackie Davis of Monongahela, wife Kathleen Comer Davis of Dunlevy, and life long companion Linda Ferrero of Donora, Two brothers Charles (Firebug) Davis of Galletin and Raymond “Peanuts” Davis of Monongahela. Three sisters, Delores “Dee” Anthony of Ella Hollow, Myra Russell Kyle of Monongahela, and Marsha Gilmer of Charleroi.

Ron is survived by two daughters Dana (Shawn) Burgan of Bentleyville and Dawn Davis of West Elizabeth. Niece Melissa Fine of Charleroi who lived with Ron and His wife for many years. A son in law Bruce (Jackie) Moorby. Grandchildren Patrick and Philip Moorby of Monongahela, Britney Behanna of Bunola, Darrien Wyandt of West Elizabeth, Chance and Bradley Ring of Monongahela. Great grandchildren Bentley, Liley, Camden, and Jaxon Behanna all of Bunola. Brother Robert “Dusty” Davis of Charleroi, sister with whom he made his home, Patricia ‘Trish’ Ryan of Elizabeth. Nephew Robert Gilmer of Pittsburgh who helped care for him. He also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Ron grew up in Forward Township and went to Elizabeth Forward. He was a mechanic by trade and worked at several body shops in Donora; including Drake’s and Naylor’s Auto Body. He enjoyed working on things and hanging out with his friends while doing so. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed camping with his friends and family. Especially sitting around the bonfire with his buddies and family in Gallatin where he grew up, which he called, “the patch”. He will be sadly and dearly missed by all.
