Beverly J. (Kistler) Wilson, 92, formerly of Warren and Canfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 23, 2022, at her home in Upper St. Clair, Pennsylvania, with her daughter by her side.

Mrs. Wilson is now reunited in glory with her beloved Paul, her husband of 68 years who predeceased her in 2021.  She is survived by her daughter Jennifer (Patrick) Hewitt of Upper St. Clair, PA and her two beloved granddaughters, Halle Guilin Hewitt and Carlie Liu Hewitt.  Mrs. Wilson is also survived by a niece and two nephews, the children of her late treasured sister, Jerry Lou Shirey.

A woman of deep faith, and a life-long Lutheran, Mrs. Wilson was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in McMurray, PA.  Although she was at various points in her life the administrative assistant to senior executives at The Seagram Co. and Ingersoll Rand Corporation, her greatest joy was in the role of wife to Paul and mother to Jennifer.  An accomplished seamstress, gardener and cook, she loved her role as wife and mother, and later, grandmother, best.

Mrs. Wilson’s family wishes to thank the many staff at Friendship Village of the South Hills who cared for her as though she were their own mother, especially Mindy, Kristy and Michelle in Assisted Living.  The family also wishes to thank the angels at UPMC Family Hospice, particularly Amy and Carrie, and her companions from Comfort Keepers who brightened her day and cared for her with compassion, respect and dignity.  A special heartfelt thanks to Desiree Jena, Kelly Lupa and Karen Enscoe of Comfort Keepers for their loving care.

Arrangements are entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care of McMurray, PA.  Services will be private with interment at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
