Anita Joy Fertal, age 85 of Friendship Village, Upper St. Clair, PA passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 22, 2022 surrounded by love.

Born on October 16, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Lema and William Largen.

Beloved wife of the late Martin J. Fertal; loving mother of Martin (Linda) Fertal Jr., Karen Payne, and Robert (Anastasia) Fertal; cherished grandmother of Christopher, Mark, Leah, Maggie, Joseph, and Owen Fertal, and James and Emily Payne.

Joy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022 from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, (724) 260-5546.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 11 AM at Friendship Village, St. Clair Room, 1290 Boyce Road, Upper St Clair, PA 15241.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joy’s name to the Friendship Village Team Member Appreciation Fund (Checks only please) , 1290 Boyce Road, Upper St. Clair, PA 15241.
