Gerald “Gerry” Tomaszewski

Gerald “Gerry” Tomaszewski, age 82 of Auburn, AL, and formerly of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022. Beloved husband of Charlotte Ann “Chuckie” Tomaszewski. Born September 5, 1940 in McKees Rocks, he is the son of the late Dennis and Frances Tomaszewski; loving father of Kenny (Melissa) Tomaszewski, Gary Tomaszewski, and Megan (Scott Shanor) Ashbaugh; cherished grandfather of Abbey, McKenzi, Brianna, Karla, Kristie, Cassidy, and Noah.

Gerry proudly served in the U.S. Army, SP5-E5 from 1964-1967 and the U.S. National Guard , E8 Platoon Sgt. from 1973-2000. He was an avid Steelers fan, enjoyed traveling, and Harry Potter. Gerry also loved fast Fords and NASCAR.

Family and friends are welcome on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 1:00-3:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care 5405 Steubenville Pike Robinson Township, PA 15136. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at 11:00am at Restoration Church of Christ 1040 E. Windhaven Road Pittsburgh, PA 15205. Please meet at church.
