To my very best Midway friend growing up. We came up to Midway every summer to see family was but the very first thing I did after saying hi to everyone was to say "I'm going to Jeff's". Your mother would see me walk up to the side door and yell out my name, and I would wait for you to come home from school. Hey Mum! Mummy! And from that point to the time I left for back home in Texas we would be together the whole time. Riding the minibikes, GoKarts, hiking, hunting black berries, Fishing at the frog pond, the sleep overs, Street Fair, the old Feedmill and just overall fun times in that little town with nothing to do. The time I will never forget is when we hung the Tom Cooper / Barney Fife sign over the Main Arch. That was the talk of the town for so long....We were Ledgend that Summer for that stunt! You honored my Grandfather by telling me you were a "Pap" with the birth of your first grandchild, and saddened me when you called me to tell me you were dying. I'm so happy we had that good long talk and walk down memory lane. RIP my friend.
