Jerrod J. Stimmel, 50, of Pittsburgh, passed at his home on December 30th 2022.  Born April 19th 1972 in Indiana, PA, he was the son of the late Authur Stimmel and the late Phyllis Miller.  He was the father to Dylan Stimmel and Kassidy Stimmel and had 3 grandchildren. Jerrod was preceded in death by his grandparents, his stepfather Darrell Brady and his dog Lovey.
He is survived by 3 sisters: Katrina Miller, Darice Brady, and Dawn (Patrick) Taylor, many nieces and nephews, his best friends AP, Jeffrey Stanley, Richard Goble, and many other long time close friends.
Jerrod was a veteran of the Army Infantry and served his country in Desert Storm.
Jerrod attended the University of Pittsburgh and received a certificate in Advanced Inclusive Manufacturing. He was skilled in construction and woodworking and loved to build things. Jerrod also loved animals and had the same green thumb as his grandfather and could bring any plant back to life.  He loved spending time fishing and in his canoe on the river.
Jerrod was an active member of the Revival Today Church where he was saved and baptized. He was a very active member of the Revival Today Veterans Brigade where he was on mission to help other veterans in the Pittsburgh area.
There will be a graveside service at the Veterans National Cemetery of the Alleghanies at 2pm On Friday the 6th with a luncheon to follow at Crossroads Church South.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Revival Today Veterans Group.

Bro. Jerrod was a Child of God and a very active member of Revival Today Veterans Brigade. He was a blessing to our Veterans ministry and truly emboided the spirit of Christ. We miss you Brother, but we will ride again. Revelation 19: 11-14
