Michael J. Moritz

Michael J. Moritz, born in Jacksonville, FL on November 29, 1943 where his father, the late John Moritz and mother, the late Edna lived while in the military. Michael passed away on February 10, 2023 in a VA Nursing home in Aspinwall, PA. Michael loved his wife Gerry after 58 years of marriage and his daughter Michelle Mixter, his grandson, and namesake Michael J. Mixter, and also his younger daughter and son-in-law Gina and David Armel. Mike was a true family man and also an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him, both friends and especially his family. Private arrangements entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, Robinson Township, PA.
