I'm so sad and sorry to hear this. Everytime I think of him, I always laugh. I remember him rapping everytime we were out at night in the good old days. Then there was the time he gave me a whirlwind tour of Vegas. He was definitely a lot of fun and had great energy. Cherish all of your fun memories with him. Sad for you, but glad he's a peace. Love to the McHugh family 💙

Colin was like s shooting star. Boundless energy. Dazzling smile. A personality that outshone those of the people around him. And, sadly, he was gone in the blink of an eye. But he left an indelible impression on everyone who knew him. For me, it was his laugh, his zest for life, his love for his little sister. I will never forget those things. I will never forget him.

I am a friend of Colin's from Purdue and we hiked the Appalachian Trail together ('98?), along with about a dozen of our best college friends. I'm so thankful to have that memory of Colin, as well as many more to treasure. I'm attaching a couple of photos. One is of our large group, and the other is just Colin, Ryan Schaefer and myself during a break from our grueling hike. Doesn't Colin look thrilled! :) Sending lots and lots of love to Colin's family and friends. I'm lucky to have known him and I'll truly never forget him. One of a kind! Love ya, crazy legs.
