Randall “Randy” Brunko, left this world unexpectedly to be with our Lord on April 26, 2023 at the age of 60. He was born January 7, 1963 in Pittsburgh to Wade and Nancy Brunko. After graduating from Peters Township High School, he went on to become a master plumber and contractor. Randy was a gentle and kind soul. In his earlier years he enjoyed boating, skiing and playing golf. As the years passed his Audi, cooking and political discussions became his passions. He leaves behind his sister Susie, who will miss him dearly even though he drove her crazy, his cousins Dave and Trish Brunko and their children, Linda and Wayne Boyd and their children, Amy Harnack (Surviving: Fred) and their children, Margot Morgan and her children and Susan Stuart. He is preceded in death by his Father Wade, his Mother Nancy, his Stepfather William “Bill” McCloskey and his beloved Westie Willie. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers or donations please say a prayer for Randy and his family. God Bless.

Dear Susie, I am so sorry 😞. Diane O’Toole
J.B. GOOD
On behalf of the regular crowd at Lemonhead’s Brightwood Grille, I would like to offer my condolences on the passing of Randy. I was out of town when the news broke and unfortunately, we didn’t know Randy’s last name. Just found the obit today. As for Suzie, whom he drove crazy per the obit, we feel your pain. He always spoke highly of you (we thought your name was, “My Sister”) and I truly believe he loved you more than Donald Trump….AND Melania (the “classiest First Lady since Jacki Kennedy”). Though difficult at times, fellow patrons came to his aid when necessary and at times I held up for him when he was treated less than fair…. because he was a regular. He told me about an old Saab sedan with a bum clutch he once owned. He cut the roof off and he and a couple of others dressed up, put on fedoras, and drove it downtown. A couple guys thought it was so cool they bought it off him on the spot. I was laughing so hard he said, “That story is not that funny.” “Randy, the story is funny--but coming from you makes it hysterical.” Unfortunately, I didn’t know Randy before his various health issues limited his mobility as well as his sense of humor. However, at the next J.B Party, on the 18th, I will mention him.
