Norma M. Couzens

Norma M. Couzens, age 92 of Washington, PA formerly of Pittsburgh, PA passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 16, 2017. Born on April 21, 1924 in Pittsburgh, PA she is the daughter of the late Robert and Marie Magill. Beloved wife of the late Herman Couzens. Loving mother of Richard (Rhonda Kifer) Moore. Norma is also blessed with many nieces and nephews, Robert Magill, Eileen Magill, Jean Hintz and Lorraine Kinley. She is preceded in death by her brother Wesley Magill and sisters Marie E. Magill and Winifred Hintz.

Norma was a long time employee of Highway Equipment Company and a lifelong member of St. Paul’s Cathedral in Oakland. She was a member of the Pittsburgh Figure Skating Association. Norma enjoyed water skiing, traveling and music, especially playing the organ. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

At the family’s request, all services will be held privately. Inurnment will take place at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, (724) 260-5546.
