Stanley Jones

Stanley Jones, age 76, of Washington, PA passed away on Friday, April 7. He was the son of the late Harold and Hilda Jones of Cwmbran, Wales, and brother to the late Colin (Gill) Jones and the late Julie (Harry) Hull. He was the beloved husband of over 50 years to Jill Shapcott Jones, loving father of two daughters, Rachel (Philip) Jones Deluce and Meredith (John) Cotis, and cherished grandfather to Charles “Charlie” Rhys Cotis. Always up for adventure, Stanley and his wife moved to Pittsburgh from London, England to raise their family. He enjoyed travel, reading, sports and happy times spent with family and friends. He had a zest for life, a clever wit and an optimistic spirit that will be sadly missed. The last task he placed on every to-do list was “Have a jolly good time!” He had a jolly good life.
