Joanne Adele Orsini, July 31, 1937 – July 9, 2017, of Coraopolis, PA passed away peacefully with her family at her side on July 9, 2017. She was the beloved mother of Gina (John) Clowes of Cranberry Township, Nunzio C. Orsini of Coraopolis, Melina (Rick) Young of Peters Township, Tino (Jill) Orsini of Plano, Texas, Romina (Brian) Black of Fairfax, Virginia and Dana Orsini of Pittsburgh. She was the cherished grandmother of Steven and Daniel Clowes, Nicky and Maria Young, Isabella and Roman Orsini, and Sophia and Carmen Black. She was preceded in death by her sister Patricia McGinley, her mother Ruth Caslin and her father Joseph Caslin.

Joanne was a beautifully sweet and kind woman with an inner strength that carried her through her life. After staying at home with her children through most of their school aged years, she worked tirelessly to become one of Western Pennsylvania’s top real estate agent/broker. She loved helping her clients find their dream home; the home where they would be raising their children. Her love and devotion for her children and grandchildren coined her with the nickname “Grandma Lovey.” Grandma Lovey was always there when you needed her. When the kids and the house were going crazy, you would find Grandma Lovey with her grandchildren building a puzzle or playing a game. You could hear her standing in the kitchen humming a song putting everyone at ease. She never wanted anyone to fuss over her and asked very little of her children. She had a great sense of humor, an infectious laugh and never met a cup of coffee (with lots of cream) or a chocolate chip cookie she didn’t like. We will all miss her dearly. Her love for her family lives within all of us forever. May your sweet, gentle soul rest in peace, Mom.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, July 16, 2017 from 12:00 – 3:00 at Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317. (724) 260 5546.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Kane Scott Township, 300 Kane Blvd Pittsburgh, PA 15243
