“A life need not be long to be memorable” Patrick came into this world only to leave us after a brief stay. Having the rare genetic condition of anencephaly, his life has been celebrated by family and friends while he was waiting to be born. Son of Ryan and Heather McNamara, brother of Ellie and Abby, grandson to Dennis and Debra McNamara of North Strabane, and Robert and Lorraine Strohmenger of West Long Branch, New Jersey.  The family would like to extend a special thank you to CORE of Pittsburgh for helping to make organ donation a possibility to further the advancement of pediatric research. Additionally, the loving support of The Promise, a neonatal palliative care division of Catholic Hospice Pittsburgh. Finally, a thank you to the medical staff and administrative team of St. Clair Hospital for their continued care and support through this journey.  The family asks that donations be made to the Pittsburgh based Still Remembered Project, which provides bereaved parents and families Christian-based support and encouragement for a loss due to miscarriage, stillbirth, or early infant death.

The family wishes to invite everyone to join them at St. Louise de Marillac in Upper St. Clair Saturday August 5th for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317.

Lorraine, Bob, Heather and Ryan, I have no words of comfort. I truly wish I did. Patrick is in a better place, I hope you take some comfort in that. Love each other and know that Patrick is not suffering now. With love and hugs, Carol Meagher
