Joseph A. Wagner, Sr.

Joseph A. Wagner, Sr. age 71 of Bethel Park, PA formerly of Blawnox, PA passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, February 4, 2018. Born on July 15, 1946, he was the son of the late Amelia and James Wagner. Beloved husband to Barbara Wagner for 47 years. Loving father of Kristin Wagner and the late Joseph A. Wagner, Jr. Dear brother to Janet (James) Crates, Judith Ribarick, James A. Wagner II, and Justin (Cathy) Wagner, and the late John Wagner.

Joseph proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was an active member of the VFW Post 764, the American Legion and the Marine Corps League. Joseph was an avid hunter and fisherman and he enjoyed spending time at his cabin in Austin, PA.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 10:15 AM at St.Thomas More Church, 126 Fort Couch Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15241. Arrangements have been entrusted to Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, (724) 260-5546.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joseph’s name to St. Joseph’s House of Hospitality.
