Ruth Massaway (2/11/1940 – 2/22/2019) passed away peacefully Friday, February 22nd 2019 in the presence of family at St. Clair Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Ruth is survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
Ruth led a joyful, peaceful and prayerful life beginning in St. Ignace, Michigan and ending in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Ruth was quick with a funny story about the good old days and was most often found baking and watching old movies with her free time.
Ruth now rests peacefully with her parents James and Mary Massaway and her siblings James Massaway, Wallace Massaway, Marianna Paquin, Lois Boring and Patricia Caskey. She is no doubt reminiscing of her travels to Hawaii and England, firing up the oven for some homemade hot cinnamon rolls and settling in for a game of canasta with the family.
