Dear Cousins, unknown to almost all of you I offer you my condolences. When I think of your mother I see her as a Young still unmarried Woman in Kropp who was very slim and beautiful with her light blond hair, nice clothes and kind and friendly self. I admired her then (in the 60s)very much. When I look at the late Picture of Helga I can see a resemblance to my gtand-grand mother, to Marlene Sönnichsen and Tante Anna. Later your mother came to see my mother Frauke in Mannheim and we had a good time together. As the text says, Helga and Frauke both tried to keep in contact with many relatives. So did Anneli, whose letters I often translated to my mom. Losing your parents is very hard! I wish you all the best! Yours Ulrike Nortmeyer-Spieß Kopernikusstraße 3 69469 Weinheim Germany
