On Wednesday, October 6, 2021, Janet Yester Klosky, age 73, passed away after fighting a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.  Born in Pittsburgh on March 23, 1948 to the late Edward and Virgilia Yester, Janet leaves behind her beloved husband of 52 years, Richard Klosky, children Rick (Valerie) Klosky and Erica (Todd) Spencer, and nine grandchildren.  She is also survived by sisters Elaine Gebauer and Ellen Pellettiro, and brother Jim Yester.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Edward Yester.  Janet loved gardening, cooking, and many forms of art.  She made interior design her profession, including teaching at Chatham University.  Most of all, Janet enjoyed spending time with family and friends, who will carry on her memory.  Janet often said she had a good life, and she did because she lived accordingly and departed with dignity and grace. Per Janet’s wishes, services were not held.  A Celebration of Life is planned for a later date.  Cremation has taken place.  Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the AHN Hospice (https://www.ahn.org/services/healthcare-at-home/hospice/donations.html) or to the Salvation Army (https://www.salvationarmyusa.org/usn/ways-to-give/).

"Friends are friends forever if the Lord's the Lord of them. And a friend will not say never and the welcome will not end. Although it's hard to let you go, in the Fathers hands we know that a lifetime's not too long to live as friends." Michael W. Smith ... I am thankful for the sweet memories of the many years we shared ... What a grand blessing and what a grand sorrow ...
