Richard Sandora

Richard (Rick) Sandora, 72, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Bette (Phillips) Sandora and his siblings Sandra Sandora, Kimberlyn Solomon, and Timothy Sandora. He is survived by his beloved wife Mary, his life-long partner and best friend, and his siblings Cynthia Sandora, Mick (Georgine Keast) Sandora, and Cheryl (Alvis Rogers) Sandora. He also is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Rick was a talented musician and an entertainer. He also had a great sense of humor and tried to make everyone laugh at the saddest of times, including funerals. Following Rick’s lead, we are going to have a celebration of life gathering on December 28 from 12-2 at Pittsburgh Botanic Garden in Oakdale. Friends and family are welcome, and for all attending, please remember a time when Rick had us all laughing when we should have been crying, so we can share those moments and honor him with a day of joy and laughter. Arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, Robinson Township, PA.
