Ursula Julie Orphall

Ursula Julie Orphall, 80, of McMurray, formerly of Bridgeville, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2022. She was born in Dusseldorf, Germany, on October 4, 1941. Ursula was the daughter of the late Paul and Emilia (Otto) Albers. She was preceded in death by her husband Axel Orphall, and her brother Manfred Albers. She was the loving mother of Greg (Michelle) Orphall, and devoted grandmother to Alexandra, Jessica, and Sophia Orphall. Also survived by two nieces and three nephews.

A strong and independent woman, Ursula spent 28 years working for Bayer, mostly in Human Resources. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially walking her dogs, and gardening. She also enjoyed travelling and spending time with her granddaughters. When not in Pittsburgh, she could likely be found in either Tidioute, Pennsylvania or the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

Ursula will be missed by her loving family and numerous friends. A celebration of life will be held at a date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center.
