Alfred John Paterini

Alfred John Paterini, age 90, of Ellsworth, PA formerly of Bentleyville, PA passed away peacefully on August 2, 2023.

Born on February 19, 1933, in Monongahela, PA he is the son of the late Angelo and Jenny Paterini.

Al served in Germany during the Korean War.  He returned home in 1955 and on November 19, 1955, he married the love of his life Rena Bennardini.  They celebrated over 67 years of marriage.

Loving father of John A. (Debbie) Paterini of Edinboro, PA, Rick (Dee Cook) Paterini of Scenery Hill, PA, and Gary (Patty) Paterini of Donora, PA. Cherished grandfather Gary Michael (Anna), C.J., Robbie (Rene), Nycole (Rich), Karen (Brad), Michelle (Ron), Nacy (Bo), Rick (Anna), and J.T. (Tori), as well as 13 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Alfred enjoyed making wine, and was the owner, and operator of Paterini Winery for over 20 years.  He also enjoyed being a Boy Scout Leader, loved polka dancing, and coaching Bentleyville Baseball. Above all Al was a dedicated family man who enjoyed spending time with his family during holidays and family cook outs.

In addition to his parents, Al was preceded in death by his brother Anthony Paterini, sister Marie Kowal and daughter in law Melanie Paterini.

Private arrangements have been entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care.
