Barbara C. Skwarcha, age 57, of Robinson Township, passed on Wednesday, April 15, 2020. Beloved wife of Terry Skwarcha; beloved mother of Sasha, Danny, and Katherine Skwarcha; daughter of the late John and Teddy Culan; sister of Susan (Bob) Musial. Barb will be remembered for volunteering as a member and current vice president of the American Legion Post 862 Ladies Auxiliary, Robinson Township, and as an active member and former secretary of the Polish National Catholic Church in Stowe Township. Barb will especially be remembered by her family and friends for the unconditional love she showed her children and husband. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at Montefiore Hospital, 5th floor TICU Unit for their support and professional care. Terry, the boys, and Katie will be receiving visitors via a celebration of life drive-by memorial on on Monday, April 20, 2020 from 1:00-3:00pm. Please remain in your car, bring your own pen for the register book, and feel free to leave a written thought, prayer or memory. At the family’s request, please wear casual attire. The procession shall proceed from Norfolk Drive past the Skwarcha residence on Essex Drive towards Silver Lane. Internment at the Polish National Catholic Cemetery 200 Grace St. McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania 15136 on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at 11:00am for those who would like to attend, please practice “social distancing’ that makes you comfortable. A life celebration gathering will be planned and announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Animal Rescue 1101 Western Avenue Pittsburgh, PA 15233 and Holy Trinity Polish National Church 200 Grace Street McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania 15136. Arrangements entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, Robinson Township.

Terry, Sasha, Danny and Katie, Thinking of you and wishing you peace and comfort as we all mourn the sorrowful loss of Barb. Her family was most important to her and the love and devotion to each of you was always evident. She truly was the kindest person and dear friend who will be sadly missed. To Barbara’s family, I never met Barbara, but Barbara’s Aunt Marty has spoken so lovingly of her niece that I know she was a wonderful loving mother and spouse.
