Daniel “Danny” Abraham, age 64, of Canonsburg, PA passed away unexpectedly on July 15, 2023.

Born on February 24, 1959 in Canonsburg, PA he is the beloved son of Catherine “Pooch” and Paul Abraham. Brother of David Abraham. He was also blessed with many relatives and friends.

Danny was a very humorous man with a heart of gold who was very giving of his time to others. He would always greet you with a smile and a bag of Doritos. Danny had a love for all Pittsburgh Sports, he could be seen at all times wearing a visor and hoodie supporting his teams. If Danny wasn’t spending his time with the people he loved the most, you could find him at any of his favorite places around town, including Sarris Candy and Primanti’s.

He was a simple man, but those who knew him knew he was larger than life. He loved golfing. Danny could light up a room with just his presence. He was always known to crack jokes and bring laughter wherever he went. Danny enjoyed gardening and loved helping others with their gardens. Above all else, Danny’s true happiness came from spending time with close family and their children. Danny’s life was taken too soon, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. A hug was a must, and he always said, “bring it in.”

Friends and family are welcome on Wednesday July 19, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8 at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317. A Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday at 11:30 AM at St. Patrick’s Church – St. Oscar Romero Parish, 317 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, PA 15317. At the family’s request, they ask that everyone please meet at church on Thursday.

In lieu of flowers, in Danny’s memory, do as he would, and give your time to others.

Wow I can’t believe your gone. The last few days of posts from people speak volumes. You were so loved by so many people. Your loss is a hard one maybe because you took so much time to care about others. My last text from you was the day before you died. You wanted to text me for my birthday and you wanted to make sure I got the text. Even though we didn’t speak hardly at all when you moved back while you were in Floroda we got to speaks some awesome times together. We went to the Dolphins game and I will never forget it. Everyone was quiet and then all of a sudden you screamed out “run Ricky run”. At the time Ricky Williams was the running back. Well the whole section went crazy. Thank you so much for all of the memories and know this you always had a world of respect from me for being the awesome guy you were. I will miss you my friend. Rest in peace.
