Darlene Nicholas, age 75 of Lone Pine, PA formerly of Canonsburg, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by family at home on Thursday, May 24, 2018. Born on March 4, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Letitia and Darlington Philips. Beloved wife to the late Steve Nicholas and dear companion to the late Michael Cizmik. Loving mother to Tammy Hilderbrand, Michael (Laura Stone) and Steffani Nicholas. Cherished grandmother to Jesse Boland, Steven (Sarah) Nicholas, Nicholas and Cody Hilderbrand, Olivia and Seth Stoffick. Dear great-grandmother to 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Nicky Nicholas and her siblings Wayne Phillips, June Eckelberger, Patricia Gordon and Everett Phillips.

Darlene proudly retried from the Washington County Court House as a court reporter. She loved crocheting, embroidery and gardening. Darlene will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Internment will take place at Oak Spring Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 1317, (724) 260-5546.
