Denise K. Saunders

Denise K. Saunders, age 66, of Squirrel Hill, Pittsburgh, PA and formerly of Tom’s River, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 6, 2024. Born August 14, 1957, in Tom’s River, NJ, she is the daughter of Alan and Billie “Wilhelmina” Saunders. Loving mother of Christina Downing and Michael Burkett; cherished grandmother of Guinevere, Moira, and a grandson on the way; dear sister of Tracy, Alan, Michelle, Cheryl, and the late Jamie; also survived her fiancé Bill Chrisner and many nieces and nephews.
Denise was a talented musician, seamstress, baker, and crafter. She also was an avid horror movie watcher. She will truly be missed by all her family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on February 24, 2024 at the Mardis Gras, 731 Copeland St, Pittsburgh, PA 15232 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm with a reception to follow on the premises from 3:00 to 6:00 pm.
