Doris A. Houston

Doris A. Houston, age 92, of Canonsburg formerly of Pleasant Hills passed away with family by her side on November 17, 2023.
Born on November 27, 1930, she was the daughter of late Merle and Luella Washabaugh.

Beloved wife of the late David W. Houston; loving mother of Scott (Linda) Houston, Beth (Mark) Grimm, the late David Houston and Craig Houston; mother in law of Kim Houston; cherished grandmother of Amanda Houston, Lauren Houston, Josh Piscatelli, McKinley (Diontae) Kelley, Montana Grimm, Ryan Houston, Dakota Houston, Christine Tomasits, Shannon Houston, Jeffery Houston and the late Kelly Houston; great grandmother of Jace and Ivy Kelley, Logan Houston, Kasie Houston, and Emilie Wolfe, Jordan Swank and Jacob Johnson; great great grandmother of Ernest and Khaza; dear sister of the late Dick Washabaugh and Jerry Washabaugh; aunt of Victoria (Charlie) Procoffie, Mark Washabaugh, Jay Washabaugh and Jess Washabaugh and other nieces and nephews.

Doris loved being with her family, whether it was at the lake or celebrating holidays with everyone. She enjoyed reading and shopping. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are welcome on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 from 2-8 pm at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at 11 am at the funeral home.
