Duaine Sicchitano, 77, of Washington, PA, died at Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh on January 9, 2024.

He was born in Bentleyville in 1946 to Dominic and Margaret “Midge” (Behanna) Sicchitano. Duaine attended Bentleyville High School before working at Beth Energy and Washington County 911 Dispatch.  He was a joyful Italian who loved Christmas, loved to talk, and loved to eat cookies.

Duaine is preceded in death by his loving parents, and is survived by wife Rosemarie (Bovetsky) Sicchitano and son, Douglas Sicchitano and (w) Tara Czekaj, and his dog, Milo.

In keeping with Duaine’s loving and generous spirit, it was his decision to donate life so that others may live.  Duaine gave the gift of life to others through organ, tissue, and cornea donation.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 20 at the Elks Lodge #776, 138 E Maiden St, Washington, PA 15301 at 2pm with a wake immediately following.  Duaine’s family hopes, in addition to saving lives himself, that Duaine also inspires others to do the same.  Please honor him by registering as an organ donor today at www.core.org

I did not know Duaine. But I am friends with his son Doug and he is a good person. Sounds like his dad was a good person also. Rip 🙏
