Arleen “Denney” Doak, age 63, of  Findlay Township, passed away on January 9, 2024.

Beloved wife of Eric Doak. Born on September 19, 1960, in Aiea, Hawaii, on the island of Oahu. Daughter of the late Gil and Faustina Respicio. Mother of  Christopher Snyder and Joshua (Krystina) Snyder. Grandmother “Nani” of Nevaeh, Aria, Landon, and Logan Snyder. Sister of Jessica Swanstrom, Glen (Sharla) Respicio, and Erwin (Amelia) Respicio. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her dog, Pua.

Denney was a very compassionate person. She always put others before herself and gave back wherever she could. It was not uncommon to see her give a few dollars to the homeless while driving around. She was very creative and artistic, enjoying scrapbooking as well as helping her grandkids with their school projects. Denney was an avid reader; her favorites were fantasy and Steven King novels. She was also an exceptional cook, specializing in various Filipino dishes, such as Pancit and Spam Musubi. She loved to spend time watching people record themselves while eating huge amounts of food. Above all else, she took immense pride in her grandchildren and their accomplishments.

Her generosity and kindness will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

Friends will be received on Monday, January 22, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 5405 Steubenville Pike, Robinson Township, PA 15136, where a service will be held on Tuesday at 11 am. Please share condolences at http://www.pittsburghcremation.com
