To hear this sad news of Edit's passing, makes me pause and reflect on how I knew her but mostly on how I will miss her. She arrived to Mt. Lebanon from Hungary through arrangements through friends of friends in September of 1990. She was to be our au pair. But despite her kind intentions to help my children...she spoke no English. It wasn't what we expected but she learned with time language and other skills to be of help. She left our home to start a family of her own. Sometimes years would go by when I didn't see her until I recently saw her at the salon. I will never forget her familiar voice and her face lighting up when she saw me. It was the same Edit, pretty as ever and exuberant with catching up our lives. My prayers are with the Schardt family.

Raymond and Fritz our prayers are with you. Edit was such a beautiful lady. She always had such a great smile even while she was in so much pain. May she rest in peace. A great big hug to all she touched. Love you!

With deepest sympathy to Edit's son Raymond. Your mother was a dear friend to the Varga family , especially our Mother, Margit. She loved her company each and every time they spent together. And the many times on the phone. Our mothers only wish was that she could of visited with your mother before her passing. Our condolences to you Raymond.
