Edit Schardt, age 57 of Mt. Lebanon, lost her battle with ovarian cancer on Sunday, October 21, 2018. Born in Hungary, she was the beloved wife of 27 years to Jim “Fritz” and loving mother of Raymond. She is sorely missed by all of their family members and friends. She was loved by all whom she touched.

Edit was a truly beautiful soul. Her outlook was always positive and she never had an unkind word for anyone. I met her at Amerifit where she was my yoga instructor for several years. And an excellent teacher she was! I am very saddened to learn of her passing. My deepest sympathy to her family. Maggie Walker

I knew Edit as my yoga teacher at Amerifit gym for several years. Edit was a wonderful instructor, and her passion for yoga was contagious. She had a great sense of humor and positively influenced everyone in the class. Edit had a most BEAUTIFUL spirit that was so evident to all that met her. I am so sad to hear of her passing. My sympathy to her family and friends.

Raymond - so sorry to hear that your mom passed. I have very fond memories of her. One of my favorite was at Matthew's fifth birthday party. It was chilly for a June birthday. You and Matthew were playing in the jump house/castle. Stephen was only 3 months old. Your mom took such great care of him while I hosted the party. She made sure he was warm and well taken care of. But that's just the kind of sweet wonderful person she was. You are in my thoughts and prayers - love Aunt Deb
