Elizabeth Nickels Coutz

Elizabeth Nickels Coutz, 105, of Bethel Park, passed away on December 22, 2023.

Beloved wife of the late Alfred Coutz. Born on November 30, 1918, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she is the daughter of the late Edith and Lloyd Clinton Nickels.

Loving mother of Mary Ellen Martin; grandmother of Julie Martin, Robert (Susan) Martin, and Jill Atkinson; great-grandmother of Nicholas and Giovanni DeIuliis, Ashley (Ron) Polka, Meagan, Rob, Shelby (Will), Eden, and Ray (Nicole) Martin, and Abby Atkinson.

Elizabeth dedicated her working years to being a Purchasing Agent in the Medical Supply industry. Once she retired, she continued working in sales at both Kaufmann’s and Kohl’s. She was an avid reader with a fierce personality. Above all, she was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

She will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved her.
