Bill and Diane: I am so sorry to hear of your daughter's passing after her valiant battle with cancer. I will be keeping you and your extended family in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you are comforted, in small part, by her achievements, humor, and positive attitude though I know that very little will be able to quiet the sorrows you are feeling.

Emily was always brave and courageous in every battle she faced. She took each hardship in stride, like it was just the next thing to do. She was also one of the most thoughtful people we knew, especially her amazing talent for giving just the right gift. We were blessed to be her friends over the last 25 years.

We are so sorry for your family's loss. Although we did not know Emily we can't imagine that she wouldn't have been a wonderful young lady to have been raised by such terrific parents. To Bill and Diane our heartfelt prayers go to you, we can't imagine your loss. Becky and Ron Gohn were kind enough to forward this sad news. Dave and Sharon Gates (IUP)
