Gerald Bruce Johnson Jr, 68, of Washington PA passed away unexpectedly on November 1, 2023

Gerald was born in Washington, PA on January 26, 1955, he was the son of the late Doris and Gerald Johnson.

Gerald was the beloved husband of 44 years to Susan Chase Johnson.

Loving Father to Michael (Rita) Johnson, Amy (Jason) Rugg, and Nathan Johnson. Cherished grandfather to Emma, Aaron, Sammy, Aryia, Hailey, Gaige, and Jasmynn. Dear brother to Sandy (Ron) Wilkinson.

Gerald was preceded in death by his sister Ellen (Hicey) Robison.

Gerald was an avid fisherman who loved camping, watching wildlife and spending time outside.  In his free time, he enjoyed watching any football game and hearing all about his grandchildren’s sporting events.  Gerald had a green thumb and loved tending to his flowers, especially his favorite flower the amaryllis.

Gerald devoted 30 years to working for the state of Pennsylvania.

A celebration of life will be held at Noon on November 25, 2023, at West Finley Firehall, 908 Majorsville Road, West Finley, PA 15377.
