CARLUCCI, Jacqueline Theresa

November 28, 1949 – April 2, 2024

Jacqueline Theresa Carlucci, after a lengthy illness, died April 2, 2024, at the age of 74. The beloved daughter of the late Dominick and Marie (Angelo) Carlucci, she is preceded in death by her sister Rose Marie Johnson and brothers Dominick Jr., Donald, and Raymond. She is survived by her sister Janice Knapp, brothers Thomas, and William Carlucci as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. We will remember the many family beach vacations, game nights, and holidays spent with her – the jokes, pranks, and endless laughter. She will be remembered for her generosity to others as well as to herself because we all know that Jackie never met a piece of jewelry or pair of shoes she didn’t like. Her nieces will also remember the countless shopping trips to the old Century III Mall – lunch or dinner in the Food Court followed by a Dough Boys custard fantasy for dessert. Memories too numerous to mention fill our hearts. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staff members of Allegheny General Hospital who treated her so many times over the past few years, especially during her most recent stay – their kindness and compassion is immense, and we are grateful to them. Jackie was an avid fan of Elvis and Patrick Swayze. If there is a hereafter – we hope she is healthy again and somewhere dancing on the beach with them both. Cremation services are by Pittsburgh Cremation, McMurray, PA – Catholic mass and burial to be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please be kind and generous – to yourselves, to each other, and to the world.

I have fond memories of Jackie, especially those times when we spent extended-family vacations at the beach and I was the target of her good-natured pranks.🥰 Jackie is going to be remembered by those who were fortunate enough to know her for her kindness, generosity, sense of humor and tenacious struggle to overcome the numerous ills which plagued her in recent years. Rest in peace cousin.
