Jean Loree Hunt West

Jean Loree Hunt West, age 100, of Washington, PA passed away peacefully with family by her side on August 10, 2023.

Jean was born in Washington, PA on August 26, 1922, she was the only child of the late Robert B. and Hazel Jones Hunt.

Jean attended Washington Schools and was a devout member of Immaculate Conception Church and later Saint Oscar Romero – Our Lady of Miraculous Medal Church.

On September 11, 1976, Jean married the love of her life, James D. West, who passed away on April 28, 2005.

Surviving are her two children, Robert B. (Bei Feng) Faux, Terrill Faux Andy (The late Alberto). Three Grandchildren, Eric (Nancy) Barca , Christopher (Donna) Barca , Mo Mo (Susu) Yang; extended family,  Robert (Amor) Andy and Louis Andy.  Great Grandmother of Jaimie, Anthony, and Dominic Barca,  Emily Barca and Sarah (Tim).

Deceased along with her parents and husband, is her daughter Cherlyn Loree Dillon Barca. son-in-law, Emil Joseph Barca. great grandson, Eric Barca Jr. and son in law Albert Andy.

A special cousin, who was like a sister, Virginia Jones West (Michael-Deceased). Former Husbands, William J. Dillon and Boyd F. Faux.

Jean loved with all of her heart and adored her family to the moon and back.

She was getting tired and ready to go HOME. As much as we will miss her and love her, she is at peace. We love you Mommy. We love you Nonna.

Family and friends are welcome Monday, August 14, 2023 from 1-6pm at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546.  Blessing and burial will be private.

I was so blessed to know and love her. She was a great neighbor to me as I was a young girl. Our paths crossed even after she moved away. Always happy and smiling. She was a joy to all who knew her. She will always be remembered by me. Hugs to all the family
