Letty (Keefer) Ehland

Letty (Keefer) Ehland, age 88, beloved wife of the late Joseph Ehland Jr. Mother of the late Joseph Ehland III, Michael (Carla) Ehland, Mary Anne (Ted) Campbell, Matthew (Mary) Ehland, and the late Kathy Ehland. Grandmother of Kathy, Matthew (Janis), Christine, Patrick, and William Ehland. Sister of Mary Ellen, the late Michael and Oliver (Michelle) Keefer. Letty worked for Bell Telephone until her marriage. She took great pleasure in being a homemaker with Big Joe and their children. When her youngest started school, she embarked on her career hanging wallpaper and started a successful business, Paper hanging by Letty. At age 63, she achieved a lifelong dream and graduated with honors from Geneva College with a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management, one of her proudest accomplishments. She worked as an office manager until suffering a stroke at age 72. She then cherished her role as grandma. Her last words were “Good-night, I love you” and went to sleep with her little dog, Dolly, in her hot pink painted room where she lived with Mary, Ted, and Kathy.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023 from 4 to 8 pm at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 10 am at Our Lady of Grace Church, 310 Kane Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA. In lieu of flowers a contribution can be made to the charity of your choice.
