Marie Smith of Bethel Park passed away peacefully on February 10, 2024.
She was born to the late John and Susan Bartek on November 16, 1927, in Hazelton, PA.
Marie was the beloved wife of the late Barton Smith, with whom she built a beautiful family; loving mother of Lisa Smith, Leslie ( Michael) Binder, Lori Smith, and Deidre (Greg) Seiler. Cherished grandmother of Lauren, Tessa, Christa, Jackson, Jefferson, and Isabella and Dear great-grandmother to Shane, Uriah, Brighton, and Giles.
Marie was preceded in death by her brother, Joe Bartek, and her sister, Dorthy Von Nieda.
Marie loved shopping and traveling, especially those travels that took her to the beach. However, more than anything, Marie cherished her time with her grandchildren.
A Mass will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 10:00 am at St. Thomas More, 126 Fort Couch Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15241. Arrangements have been entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, McMurray, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Light of Life Rescue Mission.
