Mark R. Danley

Mark R. Danley, age 68, of Taylorstown, PA, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at home.
Born on July 19, 1954, he was the loving son of Esther and the late Frank Danley.

He was the beloved husband of Sandy Danley for 37 years; loving father of Tim (Tiffany) Danley and Jacob (Tori) Danley; step grandfather of Jake Lyle; also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceeded in death by his dear brother Michael Danley and his beloved coonhound Tizzy.

Mark worked at Ball Glass in Washington and Anchor Hocking in Monaca for many years prior to his retirement. Mark loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing, trapping and looking for mushrooms and arrowheads.  He was a sports fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR. Mark was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Per Mark’s request, there will be no funeral.

We still can't believe this as well. I wish your Dad and Rick would have got to talk one last time but Rick's not good with things like this so maybe for the best. Your family has been through so much. Life isn't fair sometimes. As you know, Rick has been great friends with Mark for many years. Jake I remember him bringing you hunting here when you were just a kid. And when Rick and Mark talked he always updated Rick about you. I'm sure you will continue to make him proud. I know you will continue to build on all he taught you. He loved his family for sure. Years ago we wanted to take a trip with my family but I was worried about our animals. Mark volunteered to stay here and feed and keep an eye on my critters. He would not sleep in the house. He camped out in the garage on the floor lol. As luck would have it he woke up to our creek flooding. When me and Rick started dating Mark always helped out at the bar so we could go out and be together. He trusted your Dad more than anyone. Rick trusted him with everything. We are so sorry for your loss and hope happy memories can somehow get you through this devastating time. Your Dad was taken too soon and we are so sorry.

I've known Mark, Mike and Ester most of my life. They are all very special people. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. We spent many hours together at the firehall. Prayers for healing and remember he will always be with you.

Mark was my cousin, and although I haven’t seen him for many years I always remember him with a smile on my heart. He was great at taking his younger cousins for walks in the woods, and was always fun to be around. I can’t imagine how difficult his loss is for all of you to bear. You have my deepest sympathy, and wishes for comfort and peace.
